Using Wishtar

• You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to use online services where you live. If you are under the age of majority, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian.
• You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
• You may not use Wishtar if we previously suspended or removed your account for serious or repeated violations.

Your Content

You keep ownership of content you create or upload to Wishtar. To operate the app, you give Wishtar a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, resize, optimize, display, distribute, and make your content available according to your privacy settings and the feature you used.

This license lasts until your content is deleted from Wishtar, except where retention is needed for backups, legal compliance, payment records, safety, or legitimate operational reasons.

Acceptable Use

• Do not post or send illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, exploitative, sexually abusive, violent, misleading, or infringing content.
• Do not upload content that violates someone else's privacy, intellectual property, publicity, or other rights.
• Do not spam, scrape, overload, probe, reverse engineer, bypass rate limits, interfere with security, or misuse Wishtar infrastructure.
• Do not impersonate others, misrepresent affiliations, manipulate engagement, or use Wishtar for fraud, scams, money laundering, or payment abuse.
• Do not use messages, communities, reports, comments, wishlists, Gift Pots, or gratitude cards to harass, threaten, deceive, or pressure other users.

Wishlists, Communities, And Messages

Wishtar helps users create and share wishlist content, discover ideas, collaborate, chat, and form communities. You are responsible for the content you add, the people you invite, and the purchases or arrangements you make outside Wishtar.

Privacy settings, collaboration controls, community membership, and message permissions affect who can see or interact with content, but you should not share information that you would not want the selected audience to access.

Payments, Gift Pots, And Premium

• Wishtar Premium is an optional subscription currently priced at EUR 4.99 per month and may include benefits such as animated avatars, higher wishlist limits, additional collaboration room, visibility boosts, and Premium visual indicators.
• Premium billing, invoices, payment methods, cancellation, and some payment status updates are handled by Stripe. You can manage active Stripe billing through the billing flow in Settings.
• Gift Pot and contribution features may use Stripe checkout, connected account onboarding, payout, refund, proof, deadline, and handling-fee workflows. Any fees, contribution details, and flow-specific terms shown in the app apply to that payment.
• Payment providers may apply their own terms, privacy policies, fees, verification rules, tax requirements, chargeback rules, and payout restrictions.
• Unless required by law or stated in a specific flow, fees and subscriptions are not automatically refundable for partial periods, unused features, account restrictions, or user content issues.

Moderation And Safety

Wishtar may review reports, restrict visibility, blur or remove media, remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, preserve records, or notify relevant parties when we believe it is needed to enforce these Terms, protect users, prevent abuse, comply with law, or keep Wishtar reliable.

We may also remove content or restrict accounts for repeated reports, payment risk, security risk, inactive or abandoned flows, technical abuse, or behavior that harms the Wishtar community.

Third-Party Services And Links

Wishtar integrates with third-party services such as Supabase, Stripe, Google login, Firebase Cloud Messaging or platform push providers, Sentry, Vercel, and websites you link as wishlist items. Wishtar is not responsible for third-party services, products, websites, policies, availability, pricing, or fulfillment.

Wishlist item links, product metadata, prices, images, and availability may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You should verify important details before buying, gifting, contributing, or sharing.

Changes To The Service

We may add, remove, suspend, limit, or change Wishtar features, limits, pricing, design, integrations, availability, and app requirements. We will try to give reasonable notice for material changes where practical.

Termination

You can stop using Wishtar at any time and may delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, misuse payments, or cause harm to Wishtar or other users. Sections that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Disclaimers And Liability

Wishtar is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that content, search results, recommendations, product data, messages, payment flows, or notifications will always be accurate or available.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Wishtar will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Legal Requests And Disputes

If you have a concern, contact the Wishtar team through the support contact published with the app or deployment so we can try to resolve it. These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer protections or privacy rights that apply where you live.

Updates To These Terms

We may update these Terms as Wishtar changes. When changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continuing to use Wishtar after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
